Yes. I offer comprehensive ADHD testing using the most up-to-date testing methods. The evaluation process consists of several electronic assessments to be completed by the individual or in the case of a child, by the parent and a teacher prior to a 90-minute virtual evaluation interview with me. For adults, there is one electronic assessment form to be completed by someone who knows you well. Multiple testing measures ensure that the diagnostic process is extensive and accurate at differentiating between ADHD and other possible diagnoses.

Psychotherapy or ADHD Coaching
$200 per session

ADHD Testing/Evaluation
$550 for a full ADHD evaluation, including a comprehensive written diagnostic report.

*If cost is an issue you may choose to have an evaluation without a written report, and instead I will write a letter verifying the diagnoses that can be used for school accommodations or to take with you to discuss medication options with a prescriber. The cost for this equally comprehensive evaluation is $400.

We do not process insurance claims. However, many of my clients are still successful in getting their services covered by major plans like United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna, etc. We will provide you with an itemized statement to submit to your insurance company. You can also use your HSA and FSA accounts. The entire process takes just a few minutes and we’ll be glad to help you along the way. It’s really that easy!

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part if you have out of network benefits. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates for psychotherapy services and diagnostic evaluations.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental-health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • What amount will you reimburse me for each session (e.g. 70%, 80%)
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need prior authorization for mental health services Many insurance plans will include ADHD assessments and psychotherapy as covered?
You can expect to receive your ADHD Diagnostic Evaluation Report including my findings and recommendations within 2 weeks of your appointment.
Yes. We are currently fully virtual via our secure online platform.
I offer an individualized and holistic approach to the therapy process with a focus on ADHD coaching. My practice is emotionally focused, person-centered, and influenced by psychodynamic, CBT, positive psychology, humanistic, and ADHD coaching techniques. Common focus of appointments might include organization, work/life balance, relationships (couples and parent child), ADHD specific parenting and behavior management techniques for kids and teens, improving independence for teens and early 20’s (launching), managing stressful life events, regulating emotions, improving self-esteem, managing anxiety, and depression which often accompany ADHD.
I offer a variety of online therapy structures to meet the needs of each situation. I see adults alone, with a partner, with other family members, or other people important to the individual, in any combination. I see parents of young kids where the kids join for as much or as little of the virtual session as they are capable of or is desired by the parent. I see teens alone, with parents joining every session, every other session, or once a month, based on the needs of the teen and wishes of the parent.
Medication is a personal choice between clients and their prescriber. However, we do everything we can to help you make progress with or without the use of medication during your ADHD treatment. In addition, we maintain close relationships with many of Ohio’s best psychiatrists to further support you on your treatment journey.
No. ADHD often co-occurs with issues like depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and anxiety, so I am ready and able to support you in many ways.
I see most people once a week for coaching or psychotherapy, some twice a week, some twice a month. We continue sessions for as long as they continue to be helpful for you. Once you feel things are more under control and manageable on your own, we discontinue sessions, but you can always return should the need arise.
