A full ADHD evaluation costs $750. That includes the rating scales, the diagnostic interview, the written report and the feedback session. There are no hidden fees.
Waitlists for ADHD testing in New York City can run for months. Because every evaluation is done by video, New Yorkers anywhere in the state can usually be seen within weeks.
New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island), Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and the rest of New York State.
Is online ADHD testing as valid as in-person testing?
Yes. A thorough ADHD evaluation is based on validated rating scales, a structured clinical interview and information from more than one setting. All of these work well by secure video.
How long does the whole process take?
Most people go from booking to a finished report in two to four weeks. The interview itself takes 60 to 90 minutes.
Do you prescribe ADHD medication?
No. We diagnose and provide therapy and coaching. If medication may help, your report gives your primary care provider or psychiatrist what they need to consider a medication trial.
Can the report be used for school, college or workplace accommodations?
Yes. The written report is detailed and is often used to request a 504 plan or IEP, college accommodations, or workplace adjustments.
Will a New York school or college accept the report?
The report follows the documentation that schools and colleges usually ask for, and families often use it when requesting a 504 plan or IEP through their district’s Committee on Special Education, or college accommodations. Each school makes its own decision.
Do I need to live in New York?
